Adopted

Did you get adopted by someone not in your DNA? If you did, you were given special challenges about integration. Knowing that what is different in generally the focus, when what is similar should be the correct order. Adopted by wolves, or gorillas, now there would be shift in perspective. Adopted by a Catholic or Democrat, same thing huh?? It is time to integrate the sameness of our source and forget about the differences. Like what you can, let the rest go. Be who you can, and only what you like. I was raised by a step-parent and we are very very different, and yet I like him now more than ever before, but I will never be like him and that is OK. Adoption is a choice that goes both ways and I am sure he would have never wanted to adopt me either, but I do believe he likes me now too, and that is good enough. Integration and love are the way to peace and peace for us all is what I am here for. How about you?
