Respond or react - you choose

One is soft and flowing and the other sharp and abrupt. Earth people are reacting to life here constantly. Pushed and pulled by media, money, weather and competition and so forth, it is hard not to. I teach horse. Horses live by fight or flight to stay alive in the wild. Ever aware, ever alert, they will react based on their feeling of what is going on around them. When they are safe, in a herd with a strong leader and loved and fed properly, they stop bouncing around. They respond to that situation with a steady way of being. That is where real power is. It is in the response that is steady and strong and alert without the darting or fear based REACTING! People are choosing now, which will be their way. You are going to hear and see many amazing new and wild things coming up and how you take it to heart will be your choice, react and it will slam you, respond and you will go with the flow. Ask to feel the difference. Ask to know those who demonstrate that behavior so you can see how to emulate it. I am a visual learner and watching and learning is my way. Watch my horses, they respond with such grace and beauty and pure strength it is hard to want to be like them. Over the past fifty five years they have taught me well to respond not react, that way I will never get hurt again. Thank you Mother Nature for your gift of horses and they lessons they provide to us humans.
