Adult repsonsibilities - kids need not apply

I heard someone say over and over, "I am a kid with adult responsibilities.". This is not how we get things done here. We are looking for grown ups willing to shoulder grown up choices, like respect, love, accountability and so forth. Kids deserve to be free for at least their childhood. I do not expect them to do the work here. I expect us to show and share and when they get to the age of majority they will be expected to do the same thing that we are doing. I know when a child is pushed too hard their emotional growth stops in lieu of the hyper responsibilities they have. There is a life long attachment to that time of disconnect from losing childhood too early. Security is breached. Fear sets in and rules the body causing childish behaviors like tantrums and running away. This is where drugs and alcohol become needed. I know how hard it gets for those stuck in their childishness. They often have a look, sometimes innocent and other times fearful and super defensive. If you are one of these people, have a healing session to grow yourself up now. We need adults here, this is a job for grown ups and it will take all the mature, trained and loving big people we can gather together to fix this place!! And her children!!
