Abundance for all who seek it

THE BUFFALO HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO FT PECK MONTANA. That may seem incidental to some but to those who are waiting, it is prophetic. In the circle of life there reside those creatures who have made a sacred pact with mankind to assist them in their experience here, the wolf, the eagle, the bear and the buffalo are among those magical friends. My great great grandfather died defending those creatures back in the 1870's, when those who did not understand the value, came and slaughtered them, leaving their dead bodies everywhere unused. To my grandfather it was death, the death of his family and his people. Those buffalo sustained his people in many many ways, from food to housing. Honor for the animal was high and they were cherished for their gifts. He went into Williston to a bar one night and got into a fight about it with some hunters, they beat him and he was sent home in his horse drawn sleigh near death and before my grandmother knew he was outside in the cold, he died. She thought it was her fault and that she had left him outside in the cold to die, it was an awful time. She and her children left western montana, the Ft Peck area, and returned to her Minnesota home and lived in Santiago Mn until her early death at the age of 40. She was Dakota, sent away to a white man's school as a child and then chosen by my Blackfeet grandfather as his young wife. Life was hard and changes were everywhere, alcohol took it's toll as did loss of land and heritage and community. The people of the plains were lost and dying from their grief. NOW THE BUFFALO ARE RETURNED AND THE PEOPLE AGAIN WILL HAVE THEIR FRIEND. How about it, abundance for all, what do you say???? I believe it is time now. Thank you for reading this.
