Range of Motion

Who do you reach? How do you reach out? I taught my yoga class today with the range of motion idea as our theme. I asked them to consider strength, flexibility, stability and intention. Those were the four corners of our earthly connections. We stood on one foot for a very long time to see who balanced and harmonic we were. Then with a change in energy from up to down, we pulled through mountain pose, the faith, hope and love we need to be have a reach and range of motion that not only supports us as individuals, but that supports the whole community! Here's to it now!! Reach out!!

livin' and lovin'

This is the only way to stay healthy, happy and  youthful. Lovin' who you are and how you demonstrate that all of the time. Livin' in the light of trust, and truth. Integrity and respect for all are cornerposts of a successful life here. Take a look at what and who you are lovin'. Make sure it's YOU FIRST!! Pride in your thoughts, words and deeds above all. Livin' happy and healthy mean you are doing the work of the lovin  number one'!! and in the end you will see how important that choice was after all.

Me and my alcoholics

As I stood in my dream I saw me and my first alcoholic. His name was Uncle Lester. He was wasted and on his knees. He was begging for a shot from my Grandfather, and I, being about 2, was terrified. My Grandfather, said NO! and Uncle Lester went away. Then I met him again and his name was Su. I was pulled over DUI and had the most wonderful adventure in jail. With the truth of how alcohol and I were, and what our potential could be, I embraced the experience. Turns out I was not willing to pay that price and never went that way again. That was 30 years ago. I still must have needed more data as I recently met my next alcoholic and his name was Michael. I agreed to be a couple with him, but before that could get anywhere, he killed himself and that was the end of that. My final alcoholic Scott came at that time and showed me the alcoholic I had yet to know. The one of envy, the poor me guy. The one that truly sees all the value as belonging to everyone but himself. He said, I am not worth the gamble, and he decided to run again. Jail was at the end of that escape. Silence followed. My alcoholics had spoken.

 Alcohol is a miracle, it is the fuel that sparks the fire then quickly illuminates the world around you. It makes your flame really bright and you feel real warm, for a quick second. After that light flashes the human then must take an assessment and move in the direction chosen.  The light of communion is lit. A feeling of community is the first flash. If not understood and embraced for the gift that if offers, they will endeavor to flash that light again and again and again until the battery goes out. Alcohol without food, is sure death, from dehydration and kidney failure. It stops the heart and the flame goes out. It is something truly amazing and I honor my alcoholics for showing me these truths. I will use the lessons well, thank you for sharing my life and showing me the alcoholic in me, and encouraging me to a different end. I love you all, namaste'.

CHOICES!!!!!

We are given many every single day, again and again and again. I hear excusing, blaming, less than and lack of reasons for trauma, pain, injury and separation. I watched it drive down the road last night in the form of someone's pure willingness to gamble life. Driving while medicating is one of the biggest gambles I have ever seen. Drugs, alcohol and even just crazy moods can make you a risk to yourself, and to me and mine. I know choices are made to love and support ourselves and our planet and her people, and I know choices are made to hurt and destroy and create mayhem and become the center of attention. Today, please think about the value of YOUR CHOICES! Look at the big picture, consider us all as valuable and worth putting first!!PLEASE!! Thank you. Nuff said.

Changing horses in the middle of a stream

Right now is change horses time. If you are on a path that is not helping you and the rest of the planet, change!!  Your future will be long and lively if the path you journey each day is honest and going in the right direction. Liars, cheaters and thieves are all about to disappear as they get dumped off the back of their horses. I swung my pendulum today to check the truth of a trusted friend who shares  my world, and he has been dishonest. Hiding and blaming are the two quickest ways to know when someone is not being loving to you or themselves. Let the horses lead the way, if they love you and give you a true ride great. HOLD ON!! Or change if you need too! This is the last call!!

90 days - a change of season

You are seasonal. It takes you 90 days to change yourself. Gardens are seasonal and YOU are a garden! Look at what you put in and what you fertilize it with. Good nutrition, clean pure water, sunlight and minerals and enzymes really take a seed to completion. You are seeding yourself with your thoughts, your words are your prophecy and what you believe is also a seed. Gardens that produce good fruit are tended to lovingly. They are cared for daily.
