Where attention goes, energy flows

When I was a kid, the teachers at school knew that. If one of the kids was the source of attention - no energy flowed toward the teacher it all went to the attention getter. It was the way it was. There are times in our life where being the center of attention is the order of the day, it gives you a chance to direct the flow of energy or call it in to yourself. When you are in a good place that is a good thing. Those who stand on stage or at the front of the class room can use that to share great amounts of knowledge and wisdom. With love and light and compassion and generosity it can overflow energy to attentive learners. If it is used to create pain or conflict by sharing pain or conflict, then the damage is done. Media does that, creates negative attention and it spills into my world in the form of illness and unhappiness. I see it on TV or hear it on the radio, I read it in the paper and more than once in a while I even hear a human spew it out. Solutions are then sold to the learners, fat pills, antidepressants, junk food, sex toys and drugs and the list of soon to be addictions goes on and on, set up by the attention getter, creating a reality that THEY have the solution for. Then after people are broken by this, they show up out here at the ranch seeking a solution to the solution! Kids on drugs to settle them down and shut them up! WOW, maybe if a kid is squeaking and squealing there needs to be a solution that does not need another solution later. How about simply listening to their truth. Where YOUR attention goes, energy flows!!!! If you are not paying attention to your partner or your kids or your friends, they will seek another SOLUTION, and it will not INCLUDE you! It is an honor to do my work, to hear the squeaks and squeals of those who are miserable in body and mind and spirit. We have all been there. To create a viable long term solution the truth must be heard and then, a plan of action that requires attention, implemented. That is what I do for a living. Please listen, please focus on the good stuff so you can receive and deliver the good stuff back. Pay attention now - where YOUR attention goes - YOUR ENERGY FLOWS!! Choose wisely.
