The Drum Circle of the Beltane

The Earthmother said on May Day Morning that if we can remember that she is our true mother in this here and now, and treat her as such, with true adoration and gratitude that our lives here will heal. She was very clear and beautiful and yes, adamant. The Great Spirit, our Creator breathed and we became, once we arrived here on this plane she pulled together the pieces that create the vehicle for motion and embodied existence here. So on the morning of our celebration, she, the mother of us all, blew on us the winds of change. The drums beat, and we felt her heart. She held us close with the warm sun comforting us and the beautiful scenery inspiring our hearts. AND THEN THOSE MAGICAL HORSES APPEARED.

To back up a little, at dawn we did a pipe ceremony to bless the day and what we were praying for, and as it normally is around here, the magic started right away. My unicorn, our big white horse, Gyp, found his way out of the pasture and joined us, in freedom, to bless the day. This horse moves freely here, through our closed gates with amazing ease. No one ever sees how it is done, but we know when the Earthmother moves him to step up and participate, he can and he does. He represents to the people all that is pure and powerful and always with grace and beauty and a gentleness, just like the Mother. So later when the drumming began, all the horses began to move and were excited by the energy. These animals represent the free spirits of the people, the gorgeous bodies all unique, none better then the other, one breed with many different ages, looks and sexes. It didn't matter one bit. They came together to dance and frolic in the sun, to show us what true unity looks like. That was the gift of May Day. That is mt thought to you. Be here, beautiful, unique and thinking for yourself, compare yourself to no one and what someone else thinks of you is none of your business. Frolic, jump and buck, be free, and yet remember we are one tribe with one great mother and father who adore us all equally.
