Stress is caused by the over the top way of looking at things in the present. We forget about the bigger picture and jam all sorts of thoughts and ideas and wants and needs into NOW. Then we somehow come up with the feeling insufficency. And hold our breath and wait.
Take a step back.
When it gives you goosebumps it is signaling you that you are in touch, a feeling more of us need to cultivate.
When it gives you anxiety it means you are treading in stormy waters. Look around, what have you eaten or breathed or walked into or heard that is risky or potentially harmful to you. Anxiety is your cue to back away!
When I teach health to people I explain that it takes 28 days or a lunar cycle to change something, if you want to speed it up it causes other things to slow down and creates and imbalance some where else. Patience with change is key to going with the natural flow.
To make the body terrain different it takes a season or 90 days, that is what nature requires for a shift like weight loss or healing or a new prospective.
For your benefit put that into your prospective, choose something you want to improve and get a calendar and start now, do not measure it for 28 days, then see what is happening, continue for 2 more months and then you will know what you are truly capable of.
With breathe is life, start a breathing program where you focus daily for a designated amount of time on breathing and feeling the depth of your breath - you will love the result, and for fun - breathe in new and different places, go to the park or the shore or outside in the back, your body will thank you in ways you cannot imagine.
Have fun and renewed energy - control and clarity.
