A hand out? Or a leg up?

I have done both. I prefer to offer the leg up, so I got horses to share. Humans are so inspired by the beauty and power of a horse, they just ARE! I have scene/seen many responses and reactions, all promoting growth. Some come to ride ONCE, others never quit riding. Marika a very special girl has been here for 13 years. She has daily seizures, and it is troublesome for life. Her dad brings her, rides with her, walks beside her and photographs her progressive improvement. Her core is rock solid, as she rides bareback and the muscle memory is strong. Her laughter is infectious, and when she trots, she giggles. It is so beautiful. I do not give them a hand out, THEY PAY FOR THE OPPORTUNITY. This year I am invited to be a part of her medical overview group. I am honored. She got a leg up on life on the back of a beautiful horse. What are you looking for? If it is to be a part of horse medicine, I will be in the barn!
