It is time to evaluate that question in your world. In class as a kid you were not allowed to talk amongst yourselves. If you did you WERE pointed out, shouted at or even punished. That programmed you to keep your eyes/I's on the speaker. Disregarding the energy flowing into the crowd that you felt was incompatible and not harmonic, WAS worth talking about to your neighbor about. Time in the Principal's Office was a punishment for offenses not controllable by the teacher. In the 8th grade I spent a lot of time in that office for questioning authority. Twenty years later at a retirement party for that principal, he said to me. I WAS SO GLAD YOU CAME SO OFTEN! YOU LIT UP MY DAY, I WOULD SEE THOSE BROWN EYES COMING DOWN THE HALL AND THINK WHAT A LIVELY CONVERSATION WE WERE ABOUT TO HAVE!
