I spent the morning yesterday with Arvol Looking Horse and Sheldon Wolfchild and was present for the lighting of the sacred fire for the peace and prayer day we are honoring on Monday the Solstice. It was an awesome fresh start for those who were present, whether in body or spirit. The Mayor of Mendota was a wonderful source of local political history and admitted to a few screw ups as far as the native sacred grounds being excavated without thought and now they want to give us our bones back. Now that's a good start! I told her the Creation Story and taught her four directions, the four races and the four colors and how she was to be a part of the fifth element of love and oneness being restored to humanity now. Lots of pine cones everywhere, a representation of that element and activated and spinning pineal gland.As I walked away the Eagle came and from the Mouth of Creator came the "well done little brothers and sisters", we so long to hear.

So let's get er done now. Forget the past, all of it and move squarely into the present. The open to the potential that love offers. Find the small things to celebrate, forget about anything negative, just for today, WHO CARES!! It's Sunday and you can't change it anyway.
